Purchase Desk Team in the test workspace

Test Admin owns the tested Purchase Desk Team app and is the contact for support.

Finance was the only workspace group with a Production launch grant. Finance could launch the app, sign in and read purchase records (HTTP 200). Support was denied at the portal and at app sign-in. The records request returned HTTP 401.

Review the equipment request

Open the sample equipment request for $1,200. Ask the requester to specify what they need, revise the note and return it for review. The browser preview lets you try both roles with fictional records.

What changes when you make a copy?

The team edition starts with an empty PostgreSQL database. Colleagues sign in with their SpringRoll accounts and see the same requests. The app keeps decisions and private attachments with each request. The member who creates the copy becomes its initial app owner. Their workspace email is the initial support contact. The owner or an administrator can change the support email or team channel in app settings.

Test with two colleagues

Have one person submit a request and an assigned reviewer ask for a change. The requester revises and resubmits it. The reviewer can now approve it. Requesters cannot approve their own purchases.

  • Each request supports up to five private attachments of 5 MB each.
  • Submissions and decisions appear in the app’s notifications and history.

Use this source in your workspace

Sign in, choose a workspace and deploy the team edition. Grant two colleagues app access and assign a reviewer before submitting the first real request.
